Celebrating Innovation and Excellence: Recap of Light + Intelligent Building Middle East 2024

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we reflect on the remarkable success of the 17th edition of Light + Intelligent Building Middle East, the region's largest showcase of lighting and building technology. Held at Dubai World Trade Centre, this three-day exhibition brought together over 400 innovative exhibitors, cutting-edge conferences, and informative workshops, solidifying its position as the largest event of its kind in the Middle East.

The atmosphere was electric as industry professionals, government bodies, and global leaders converged to explore the latest advancements in lighting and building technology. Inaugurated by H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the show hosted over 14,388 attendees from 90+ countries, truly epitomized the spirit of collaboration and innovation on a regional and global scale.

Hosted under the banner of a futuristic theme : ‘Enlightened Futures: How responsibility will guide the future of light and buildings’, the exhibition featured 5 exciting content programmes with 2 key conferences, 2 innovative workshops and 1 tech stage.

One of the highlights of the event was the THINKLIGHT Conference, where thought leaders shared insights on the future of lighting design, sustainability, and smart technologies. The Smart Building Summit provided a platform for discussions on the integration of IoT, AI, and automation in modern buildings, paving the way for more efficient and sustainable infrastructure.

InSpotLight, another engaging feature of the exhibition, showcased emerging trends and technologies in the lighting industry, sparking inspiration and fostering connections among attendees. Debuting for the first time at the show, the Discover Ambient Communication Workshop offered invaluable insights into the latest technology of lighting controls, highlighting the potential for creating immersive and interactive environments.

Furthermore, the KNX Workshop provided attendees with practical knowledge on the implementation of KNX technology in building automation, empowering them to leverage its benefits for enhanced comfort, security, and energy efficiency.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all our exhibitors, attendees, and partners for their invaluable contributions to the success of Light + Intelligent Building Middle East 2024.
