Celebrating Military Family Month: A Legacy Of Service

As we continue to celebrate #MilitaryFamilyMonth, we wanted to let members of our team here at PalletOne use their own words to honor their family members who serve. As the month comes to a close, Mary Miller, from our location in Livermore Falls, Maine, celebrates her sons who serve proudly today and explores a family history full of courageous men that represent multiple branches of our armed forces:

My youngest son, Nicholas Allen, was promoted to Sergeant First Class last month. He serves in the Army as part of the 82nd Airborne Division and is stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. He has been in the military for nine years and served a tour in Afghanistan between 2017 and 2018.

My eldest son, Michael Allen, is a Sergeant in the Maine National Guard. He has been in the Guard for over 14 years and spent nine months last year in Arizona assisting the Border Patrol.

I couldn’t be prouder nor more honored as a mother.

I have been so blessed to be surrounded by so many courageous, honorable men who have sacrificed for our country.

Besides my children, my father served as an Army Captain in the Vietnam War, my brother was a Staff Sergeant in the Army and served in Afghanistan as well, and my husband proudly served in the Air Force.

These men, and all who served, have my utmost respect and gratitude.

Mary you have a lot to be Proud of !!
