Celebrating our Newest Partnership with Rowan University’s Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine
I am thrilled to announce an exciting partnership between Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University and Merck Animal Health . This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing veterinary education and animal health in New Jersey.
Earlier this week, we kicked off our partnership by unveiling a state-of-the-art mobile shelter unit at Merck's headquarters. This innovative unit is designed to provide essential veterinary care and support to animals in need, showcasing our dedication to improving animal welfare in our communities.
As we celebrate the launch of this initiative, it is important to recognize the impact this partnership will have on the future of veterinary medicine in New Jersey. Rowan University is now home to the state's first veterinary school, and with the support of Merck Animal Health, we are poised to train the next generation of veterinarians who will make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners!
Through this partnership, we are making a positive impact by equipping veterinary students with invaluable hands-on experience and training them in shelter medicine, while developing an understanding around the importance of improving access to care. This not only enhances the university’s educational programs, but also strengthens our ability to serve the community by making a lasting impact on animal health and welfare across New Jersey.
Together, we are committed to fostering a culture of compassion and excellence in veterinary care! I invite you to join us in celebrating this partnership and the positive change it will bring to our communities.
Thank you for the support – and congratulations to Rowan’s future SSVM veterinarian students that get to benefit from this wonderful partnership!
