Certainty

This continues to be the most uncertain time any of us can recall. There’s uncertainty about when we will go back to work and school. There’s uncertainty about when we will have a vaccine. There’s uncertainty about the economy. There’s uncertainty everywhere we turn, and I know that is terrifying to most of us.

Uncertainty producing anxiety and fear in large quantities. And large doses of uncertainty? Well, I'd argue this is the most anxious, scared planet in the last 50 years.

The good news? I’m here to remind you that there is some certainty as well.

I’m certain that the sun will rise tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that. I’m certain I have friends and family who love me and support me. I’m certain that I have the power each and every day to wake up, work hard, have a positive attitude, and try to make a difference in the world. I'm certain that a new generation of entrepreneurs will emerge to help reinvent education, the workplace, and live events. I'm certain that I'm grateful for you, reading these very words right now.
