Change Management: An obituary
You may have overlooked the news back then: In 2018, or about 6 years ago, Change Management died. It is fair to say that Change Management lived a short, but fulfilled life, passing away at the tender age of 26 – though some claim it was much, much older.
Already at a very young age, Change Management became wildly popular, first in the US and then on the international stage. It did not deal well with its early successes, however, which in later stages of its life led to substantial abuse of toxic substances, as well as experience of disappointment and depression. Overall, Change Management lived a loud and noisy and an extravagant life, with probably way too much partying.
It has been replaced by a European successor of somewhat different character named OpenSpace Beta. OpenSpace Beta's nature is much quieter. It can be said that she is quite a bit more introverted. At the age of 6, OpenSpace Beta is still small, for sure, but she is very much adored by Sponsors everywhere. She is bold for her age and a surprisingly tough fighter. The handbook on the OpenSpace Beta approach, authored by Silke Hermann and Niels Pflaeging, was published by BetaCodex Press , and is now in its 3rd (revised and updated) edition. It is available from booksellers everywhere.
