Chasing Success, Losing Yourself? Rediscover balance with this 12-day challenge recap
We live as if we’ll never die, and we die with regrets that we never truly lived.
In today’s hustle culture, where work demands never seem to end, taking care of our wellbeing often takes a back seat. That’s why I started the #YourWellbeingYourJob 12-Day Challenge—to help you prioritize your wellbeing, set boundaries, and make lasting changes for a healthier, happier life.
If you missed the daily posts, don’t worry. Here’s a complete recap of each day, filled with practical tips and insights to help you start your journey to better mental health, self-awareness, and work-life balance.
Day 1: Are you overwhelmed at work?
Work pressure is at an all-time high, and many of us are feeling the strain. But the truth is—your role at work can be replaced, but your lost wellbeing can take you back to square one or worse. Acknowledge the importance of putting your health and happiness first, and set the stage for positive change.
Day 2: Take ownership of your time & energy
Feeling overwhelmed and reactive is a common experience. But taking ownership of your time starts with understanding your energy levels, setting boundaries, and using tools like time blocking to prioritize tasks.
Day 3: Decide on your life priorities
Identify which areas of your life need more attention—health, relationships, career, spirituality, and more. Set small, actionable steps to bring balance.
Day 4: Let work be one aspect of your life, not the whole
Money can’t buy you happiness if your health and relationships are deteriorating. Balance across all dimensions—career, health, spirituality, and more—creates true fulfillment.
Day 5: Become more self-aware
Did you know nature can help you become more self-aware? Even a walk in the park can help you get attuned to your inner thoughts and feelings doing wonders for your self-awareness.
Day 6: Know your limits – recognize early warning signs
Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. We talked about how to recognize early signs of stress, anxiety, and fatigue, so you can take action before things spiral.
Listen to your body. It’s telling you something—don’t ignore it.
Day 7: Learn to express your concerns without guilt
If you struggle to speak up because of fear, shame, or guilt, you’re definitely not alone. But expressing your concerns is not a weakness; it’s a strength.

Day 8: Ask for help
We needed two people to bring us into this world, and we’ll need four to carry us out when it’s our time. So, why do we often think we have to handle everything alone in between? 😉
Asking for help doesn’t make you weak—it makes you wise. Whether you’re struggling with work pressures, personal challenges, or mental health, reaching out can make all the difference. Connection is key to well-being, and sometimes, a little support is all it takes to turn things around.
Day 9: Be OK to walk away
Sometimes, the best way to protect your well-being is to step away from situations that no longer serve you. Walking away is—choosing yourself.
Day 10: Align values, purpose, and meaning with what you do
True fulfillment comes from aligning work and life with your core values. Ever taken time to understand what are your core values, and how can you align your daily actions with them?
Day 11: Elevate your life with good daily habits
Small, consistent habits lead to big changes. Whether it’s morning reflection, movement, or digital detox, adding positive habits to your routine elevates your wellbeing.
Day 12: Conclusion & next steps
#Wellbeing is a continuous journey, not a one-time fix. Applying these practices consistently is key to building a balanced, fulfilling life.
