Chilean Economy decelerates to 2.3% yoy in September, and to 2.9% yoy in Q3 2018

The Monthly Indicator of Economic Activity (IMACEC in Spanish) of the Central Bank for the month of September 2018 decelerated to 2.3%, from 3.2% in August. Growth in the third quarter of 2018 would have decelerated to 2.9%, from 5.3% in the second quarter based on IMACEC data. Annual growth would have reached 4.2% in the first 3 quarters of 2018 compared to 1.5% growth in 2017.
