Attended an event at the Carnegie Tsinghua Center for Global Policy called "US China Relations in 2016: S Critical Year". Great presentations from US diplomats and policy makers as well as Chinese scholars/ "policy advocates" about mutual misinterpretations and the need to have more high quality dialogue. Questions that remain unanswered, how should we interpret comments such as "other countries need to get used to the new realities in the region"?
