Choose to be your own brand of special and not somebodies image of plastic perfection.

Choose to be your own brand of special and not somebodies image of plastic perfection.

At times I wonder about our culture and its' intense need to follow those who we feel to be popular at the moment. Charles Barkley said it best when he expressed "I'm not a role model... Just because I dunk a basketball doesn't mean I should raise your kids". Independent thought seems to elude the vast majority of our population. We laugh at others because they don't dance a certain way, we wear clothes of certain brands because they are marketed well. We even use phones, not because they are better but because we choose not research all of the option and go with the popular choice.

Choosing to see the right choice over the popular one is tough, but available to all of us.

I have been blessed to meet some extraordinarily wealthy people in my life and found that they found their way out of the masses because when the crowd went left, they chose another direction instead and capitalized on this choice. They chose to not seek out what people said they wanted and saw what the actual need was.

Henry Ford said, "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have responded with "we want a faster horse"".

Choose to be the one that is different, choose to be the one that sees gold where others only see dirt, choose to be the best you based on your internal happiness instead of what we see on YouTube or magazines.

Choose to be your own brand of special and not somebodies image of plastic perfection. Question EVERYTHING, See the trees and the forest, expect greatness....

I have known some amazing women in my time.

My grandmother, who as a single woman owned several very profitable businesses that shaped the very fabric of southern AZ.

And I know some women who have this spark of brilliance within them, even if they don't see it themselves.

Be this to and for yourself and nobody else!

Love this empowerment
