CIRES embraces electric mobility project using WEG Charging Stations
All around the world, Companies are increasingly embracing sustainable initiatives in their day-to-day business and WEG has become a valuable partner in helping them to achieve these goals.
CIRES- Companhia Industrial de Resinas Sintéticas, located in Avanca (Portugal), has relied on WEG technology to embrace a new, more sustainable mobility model by purchasing charging stations for electric vehicles from the WEMOB Wall range. With an IP65 degree of protection, the equipment comes with 5-meter-long cables, online connectivity via OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) and a modern, robust design.
The supply includes two authentication solutions, the first via WEMOB-RFID cards and the second via the WEMOB EV Drivers mobile app (available for Android or IOS), both managed by the WEMOB Station Fleet Management platform. This WEG platform allows access management and the management of energy consumed by each user in an easy and intuitive way.
With this acquisition, CIRES hopes not only to reduce its consumption of fossil fuels and its CO2 footprint, but also to promote a culture of sustainability among their employees. These new charging stations will accompany CIRES in building a more sustainable future.
In order to meet the power, recharging speed and safety requirements of the market, WEG has created a range of WEMOB Wall and Parking charging stations for electric vehicles (WEG Electric Mobility) available in AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current).
In addition to the charging stations, WEG also offers local dynamic power management and authentication solutions, as well as online platform management.
For WEG Portugal, this supply is important because it represents the trust that reference companies in their sectors have in these solutions. For the market, WPT has emerged as a benchmark company for their technology, sustainability, efficiency, speed and safety.
