As 2024 draws to an end, we reflect on our incredible strides together. This month, from nurturing confidence in young girls to launching impactful programs, has been a testament to the power of community and shared purpose. Let’s dive into the highlights of December!

📚 Girls’ Club: Increase in Confidence

In November, our Girls’ Club received a generous donation of 50 copies of Becoming Me from Butterfly Foundation for Girls. This resource has inspired personal growth and self-discovery among our girls.

The transformation has been remarkable where our girls now confidently lead sessions during club meetings and inspire their peers with their newfound confidence and self-awareness. Parents have shared positive feedback, celebrating how their daughters are doing so well at home.

We are also happy to share that 10 of our Girls’ Club members have transitioned to Form 1 in senior high schools across Ghana!

🎓 Girls’ Future Program: Educational Support Program

Through this life-changing program, we supported 10 girls with essential items to start their senior high school journey. The smiles on their faces reminded us why we do what we do and the reminder that education is the key to unlocking brighter futures, and together, we are ensuring no girl is left behind.

🍳 Christmas Celebration: Nutrition Advocacy and Cooking Competition

We are prepping up for a Christmas program that will put smiles on faces and foster community bonds! Our Nutrition Advocacy and Cooking Competition will bring together teenage mothers, young women, Nutrition Club members, stakeholders, and community members for a celebration of health, joy, and unity.

We are excited to announce our Fundraiser aimed to raise enough funds to support our organization's projects for 2025. Mayekoo is having an exciting giveaway where all funds raised by the 30th of December will be matched up.
