This Coach Blew Past Her $300k a Year Goal & Bought Her Dream House In Under Five Months

When my client Wendy (a business coach) came to me, she was stuck at around $7k a month. She also was not getting clients she loved working with.

.

She was frustrated because she felt she had more to offer, but the clients she was working with were not the right clients for her.

.

They lacked funds, so this kept her fees low, and they weren't ready for all she could help them accomplish.

.

She was already in a coaching program, but her revenue/income stayed at the same level and had been that way for a few years.

.

She wanted to scale to about $300k a year.

.

When I looked at her business, I saw several shifts that needed to be made to help her reach her $300k goal.

.

• First, we had to raise the level of her offers to bring in more ultra-premium clients. Her highest offer was under $10k. So we added two ultra-premium private offers. One for $33k and one for $45k. The client could choose the best fit for them based on the time they had.

.

Her under $10k offer became a group program and her mid-tier offer, but we more than doubled the fees. This would now be her down-sell offer for prospects who were not ready or in the place financially to work with her privately.

.

• Second, we had to change her message, positioning in the market, and marketing strategy to attract the right prospects.

.

We implemented a new strategy on LinkedIn to get connections and conversations with her ideal clients.

.

We also elevated her business by getting her on podcasts as a guest to be in front of her perfect clients.

.

She began attracting the right people and booking calls.

.

• Third, we had to work on her sales process, so she could close these more premium higher-level dream clients. As she was now getting the right prospects, she had to learn to close them.

.

The process took about forty-five days to implement, but once we did, she closed several hundred thousand dollars in new business (with her dream clients) in about 60 days.

.

She went from $7k a month to $35k a month in recurring revenue quickly.

.

This gave her the money she needed to up-level her branding with a new website, a new photoshoot, and she added a marketing assistant.

.

This also gave her the money to add the next phase to her business which was to buy her dream home, where she also wanted to hold events.

.

She offered her first event where she charged $7k per person and filled it.

.

This allowed her to live in her dream home and receive all the tax breaks of a business investment.

.

There are many ways to scale your coaching and consulting business, but it is often a grind or wishful thinking until you have the right business design and strategy in place.

.

When I work with coaches, consultants, and professional service providers, they are almost always either working with another coach or in another program, they have outgrown. They desire something more, but they aren't reaching their goals, as many programs are great to get started, but don't help them get to the next phase and level in their business.

.

I am able to identify the gaps, see the bigger opportunity and the fastest path to helping them reach their goals.

With some restructuring, a new marketing strategy, some tweaks in their sales process, and a clear plan and support to execute the plan, the results often happen quickly.
