Collaboration on Digital Twin Technology for Yara Factories

Kongsberg Digital , a leading provider of industrial software and a business area of KONGSBERG , and Yara International , a global fertiliser company and the world's largest distributor of ammonia, have entered into a two-year agreement under which Kongsberg Digital will develop digital twin technology for Yara's factories in Herøya in Norway and Sluiskil in the Netherlands.

The agreement includes an operational twin for Yara's production facilities at Herøya in Porsgrunn and a project twin for the carbon capture project in Sluiskil in the Netherlands. The ambition is to deploy the solution to Yara's production facilities worldwide.

Enter Agreement To Develop The Super Sonic Strike Missile 3SM Tyrfing

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG), along with its German partners Diehl Defence and MBDA Deutschland, have teamed to ensure the successful development of the future Norwegian and German super-sonic strike missile known as 3SM Tyrfing.

The team will work closely with the Norwegian and German Defence Forces as well as their national research organisations to define and develop the world’s most advanced long range strike capability designed to meet future surface threats.

To Design and Equip Two New Carrier Vessels for Norwegian Coastal Cargo Carrier

Norwegian coastal cargo company Eidsvaag AS is to grow its fleet of forage carrier vessels with two new state-of-the-art vessels designed and equipped by Kongsberg Maritime (KONGSBERG).

The new vessels will supply feed to up to 500 fish farms along the Norwegian coast and will feature a range of KONGSBERG engineering allowing for dynamic positioning and hybrid operations.

Achieved a Significant Milestone in Maritime Digital Solutions

Kongsberg Digital (KONGSBERG) has achieved a significant milestone in maritime digital solutions by becoming the first industry player to receive the IACS UR E27 approval from DNV.

For the maritime industry to accelerate in terms of digitalization and decarbonization, access and sharing of reliable data collected from on-board components and systems is vital. Despite progress over the last years, lack of standardization and trust in data transfer and security protocols is yet to reach full steam ahead.

Welcoming Team Members to New State-of-the-Art Facility in Horten, Norway

KONGSBERG is pleased to announce a significant milestone in the construction of our new office in Horten, Norway. The XL building is now complete and ready for use.

Our colleagues from Kongsberg Discovery and Uncrewed Platforms have successfully moved in. This 46,000 square meter facility has been meticulously planned to support the production of underwater robotics and hydro acoustics, enabling us to meet the growing demand for our world-leading products. Additionally, our commitment to remaining in Horten is reinforced by the city's strong technological expertise.

To Develop Self-Driving Ferry Service Linking Trondheim and the Fosen Peninsula

The strategic collaboration will see Kongsberg Maritime (KONGSBERG) technologies installed on the ferries, including auto docking, auto crossing, collision avoidance and situational awareness capabilities.

The new systems will aim to reduce fuel consumption, improve safety and punctuality, and optimize the staffing on ferries, in accordance with maritime regulations.
