COME (to terms with it) AND GO!
Let me tell you a story....
A story about the Buffalo and the Cow.
When cows sense a storm approaching from the East, they turn to the West and begin to run away from it. And as we know it, cows are very slow, so the storm easily catches up to them and they in turn spend so much time and energy actually running with the storm; perpetuating their suffering as they continue to run in fear.
But all the while, the storm was merely moving in its natural manner.
The Buffalo on the other hand sense the storm and turn towards it. As the storm approaches, they begin to charge at it. As the storm is heading one direction, and the Buffalo in the opposite, they actually come out on the other side rather quickly.
The Buffalo make peace with what is coming, and react with courage. They trust themselves enough to make it out of the storm.
Lesson:
Run towards the storm as it approaches, even when everyone else may be running away. This way, you pass through it on your own terms, instead of being inevitably engulfed by it, tired and afraid.
May we refuse to run away in fear only to be inevitably swallowed up, maximizing the agony.
May we choose to embrace what is and to face everything head on.
May we Be like the Buffalo.
Turn towards the storm… because it will come.
But trust yourself.
And go.
So you remember…
Best to You and Yours in this new season!
