#comeonthejourney - what is yours?

#comeonthejourney - what is yours?

I remember when I first coined that phrase. It was a simple idea. I seen it as an opportunity to encourage people to follow my adventure. I wanted people to join and engage with the an trip. But also I wanted to go slightly deeper than that. I wanted people to think about there own journey. It was about everyone thinking about the journey they can pursue and telling others #comeonthejourney.

It was funny when I would meet new people and introduce #comeonthejourney they would say to me - but thats got nothing to do with events. I would laugh and say yes but this adventure is bigger than events. Its about encouraging dreams to be lived. Its about changing mindsets for everyone to see the journey they can all go on. It was about developing a journey like no other and saying to everyone "you can do that..."

When I would do my one off videos at events or walking down the streets of Vietnam or San Francisco I would always close off with #comeonthejourney. It began to be a thing. It was a journey I will always be proud or as much as I am proud of the hashtag. People started messaging and saying it back and for me it was slowly having the impact I wanted it to have. And the next steps...

While I don't know the next steps of the journey I do know that I was grateful to have #comeonthejourney as my tagline. The point I make today is what is your journey? and what is your tagline? What do you want people to remember you in one line or one hashtag. Whatever it is, understand what does it translate for you. Because for me...the journey will always be there.
