COMMISSIONING OF A STATE OF THE ART METAL COATING LINE AT M/s NAM KIM JOINT STOCK COMPANY, VIETNAM By ESMECH EQUIPMENT

Esmech Equipment Pvt. Ltd; a Joint Venture Subsidiary of SMS Group commissioned their Sophisticated GI / GL Metal Coating Line at Nam Kim; a Joint Stock Company in Vietnam. The line is installed in Binh Doung Province in South Vietnam for the production of ' High-End ' quality products.

The first coil processed in the plant on August 26th this year was a Prime Quality Coil witnessed by Namkim Chairman Mr. Quang.

Strip Width : 700 - 1250 mm

Strip Thickness: 0.30 mm to 2.0 mm 

Coil Weight: 27 MT maximum

Coating: Galvanising ( Zn )

      Aluminium – Zinc ( Al-Zn )

Line Speed: 180 ppm (max) – Process speed

250 mpm (max) Entry & Exit over speed.

 Furnace Capacity : 52 MT / Hr.

 Quality: Full Hand, CQ, DQ, DDQ

 Line Capacity : 350,000 TPA

The Special features in the line:

Furnace: SMS – Drever NOX, with inverted 'U' vertical Non-Ox section,

Horizontal Radiant Tube Heating / Soaking sections, High-Pressure Jet Coolers from Drever, Belgium and elaborate calm section.

Pots: Ajax Tocco USA Ceramic Dual Pot System for Zn and Al-Zn with Pre-melt

Air Knife: Esmech "V-Jet” Air wiping coat control system.  

EMASS: Magnetic Strip Stabilization System from EMG, Germany.

EBAC: Auto Baffle Control System from EMG, Germany.

After Cooling: Esmech High-Performance Dynamic Air Cooling Pendants in CAG Section.

Skin Pass &: Esmech 4 High Skin Pass Mill with ± ve Roll bending & Tension Leveler. 

Tension Levelling.   

Passivation & :Esmech Vertical Coaters for passivation and Organic Coating with AJAX Protection Tocco USA Induction Drying and Cooling System.

Oiling: staticElec Static oiler by REVARINI Castoldi & C.S.R.L.; Italy.

Esmhas already supplied a combination GI / GL Metal Coating Line to Nam Kim who is in operation since 2015 and also has one more Metal Coating line under production, scheduled to be commissioned in 2017 in the same plant.

With the commissioning of this line, Nam Kim will have a Coating capacity of 1 Million Tonnes per year.
