Como Terraces
Award-winning national integrated property developer, Cbus Property, has partnered with esteemed Melbourne-based developer, Sterling Global, to launch Como Terraces, a boutique collection of 39 residences on coveted Alexandra Avenue in South Yarra.
The project marks Cbus Property’s second residential joint venture, following a successful partnership with Brookfield on Classic East Melbourne, which was completed in 2018, as well as several successful commercial joint ventures with the likes of ISPT (447 Collins Street), Charter Hall (171 Collins Street) and KREIT (311 Spencer Street).
Cbus Property’s Chief Executive Officer, Adrian Pozzo, said the company had seized the opportunity to partner with Sterling Global on Como Terraces, recognising the unique nature of the site on the bank of the Yarra River and the proposed high-end product.
“Como Terraces perfectly aligns with Cbus Property’s appetite to develop well-located owner-occupier residences,” he said.
“We were attracted to the development as an extraordinary offering and are excited to be partnering with a like-minded industry peer in Sterling Global.”
Sterling Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Neil Li, echoed Mr Pozzo’s sentiments, saying “Sterling Global is delighted that such a respected property brand is partnering with us at Como Terraces and shares our confidence in the strength of the bespoke luxury market”.
“We are excited to welcome Cbus Property to this unique opportunity,” he said.
“Como Terraces represents both companies’ design-led development ethos in prime project locations. Together, we look forward to delivering an exceptional and exclusive residential address for Melbourne.”
Architecturally designed by renowned Melbourne-based studio, Carr, Como Terraces comprises four two-bedroom residences, 34 three-bedroom residences and one four-bedroom residence assembled across eight low-rise buildings. Ranging from ground-floor terraces to penthouses with stunning city and Yarra River views, the residences are connected by a central landscaped staircase reminiscent of Rome’s Spanish Steps.
“Carr’s design response for Como Terraces enhances our high-quality residential portfolio across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland,” Mr Pozzo said.
“Blending perfectly with the South Yarra riverside setting, these residences enhance the streetscape and surrounds, while their interiors embody a timeless elegance that holds immediate appeal for Cbus Property.”
Landscape architecture firm Taylor Cullity Lethlean has been charged with landscaping the expansive 7,900-square-metre site, with its design response referencing the native and exotic vegetation of South Yarra, providing residences with a sanctuary of green outlooks, lush and secluded private gardens and winding pathways.
Luxury amenity will include a formal entry and concierge with waiting lobby; mid-level lounge/lobby space; private dining room and kitchen; outdoor communal terraces; and basement parking with direct access to all residences.
Kay & Burton Projects has been appointed to manage the sales process. Contact Director Peter Kudelka 0418 319 439 or Kay & Burton Projects Director, Damon Krongold on 0418 850 757 for further information or to book a private appointment in the display suite.
