Maps are responsible for anywhere between 70% - 80% of all your traffic. And, boosting your relevancy score will ensure you are surfaced right in the first three companies in your area (that's where your customers are clicking).

How can your company dominate Google Map search in up to 20 cities within a 40 mile radius of your main location?

#1. Content. Whoever coined the phrase "content" is 100% spot on when it comes to ensuring that your company maximizes search volumes in your market. The content needs to be unique to your business and hyper local to the sub cities that you want to do business in. The key to success is linking the content directly back to the products and services you want to sell in the exact cities that you want to sell them in. Blog articles are a great way to increase the relevancy of your company by linking the products and services that you offer to the cities that you want to do business in.

#2. Proximity. Choose cities within a reasonable distance from the location of your business. SEO is dead- in the conventional form. When consumers conduct searches, you want your business to appear in Maps. Think of the last search you conducted on Google.. It could be Pizza Near Me or Gas Stations Near me. You most likely relied on Maps to find what you were looking for. In Maps, it is possible to show in map searches for up to 20 cities, within a reasonable radius from your business, in up to 10 categories. This is the NEW organic SEO. There has never been an easier way to increase the revenue in your business! When dialed in correctly, you will bring more customers to your business, more requests for directions and many more phone calls than you have ever received. Regardless of the industry, customers search the same way now on Google. Their search patterns are easy to identify. You as a business owner need to adapt to this new strategy and you will see your business flourish!

#3. Reviews. Get More Reviews. Increase Your Star Rating And Rank Higher In Maps. One of your top ranking factors in Maps when determining your Google Business Profile (GBP) ranking is your star rating and number of reviews. If your competitors in your area are also open, and at a similar distance from the user’s current location, reviews are one of the next factors Google considers. But even more than Google, people rely on reviews.

#4. Paid Search. Google Ads is a great tool for businesses of all sizes, but small businesses often feel like they can’t compete with larger companies who have bigger budgets. This isn’t always the case – in fact, there are a number of ways to compete even on a limited budget.

#5 Optimize Your Website – Make sure that your website is optimized for local searches. This means including your city and state on your website, as well as adding local content that is relevant to your area.
