"COMPLETE MESSAGE"

Starting off my latest music review of a guy named Drake King, and his debut album called "Better Man" he is an awesome music player and he has really great lyrics, that matter Drakes lyrics have clear and a precise and a superb message throughout. When reading and doing my homework about this guy, he's the real thing, Drake sings about life and what matters most to us all. Drake starts off this masterful album with a song called "Better Man" and this and the rest of his wonderfully charming album has proved to me that he has well thought out and emotional lyrics. The song is kind of pop but not Drake pours on his pure talent of writing a great song. The song has a David Gray kind of sound with superb slide guitars and his falsetto adds to the completness of this superior crafted song. With the next song "I'm gonna Love You" Drake continues his strong ability to make a song sound just right, and with the useful slide guitar and Drakes sincere vocal range brings the feelings of a real guy and allows you to really feel his feelings that he brings with every song on this pointed and tremendous album. The song called "Heavenly" Drake really showcases his talent through his really unbelievablely sound and smooth vocals and once again his awesome lyrical content. I really took a tremendous liking to the next song called "I'll Be Here In The Morning" where Drake has and paints his wonderful message through his careful and real lyrics, which is a true sound of not only a singer, but a songwriter. Drake has that sound that needs to be heard, and as I read about Drake and how his childhood has formed who he is as a singer and a songwriter, where he is quoted to say thanks to his parents allowing him to play his guitar late night when he should be sleeping. This is how Drake was formed into who he is as a singer and songwriter. This is how I found about my writing as well, I recall my childhood nights writing and envisioning myself writing music reviews and writing poems of love and loves lost. As this wonderful album plays the song "The Little Things" is a simple but lovely ballad & a love song that Drake brings in his lyrical content and allows you to really feel his heart felt and open and pure honesty in this song and I actually felt this throughout this phenomenal album that needs to be heard. "Sweet Home Oklahoma" is another song that speaks of love lost and Drake has that truly expressive ability to convey that through his songwriting talent, and is really truly a enjoyable experience. With hearing this album I really believe that Drake has got the complete sound and his lyrics are so real and quite honestly ring home a lot of my own feelings, especially the song called "My Dad's Son" and where I envisioned myself through his careful and packed with emotional lyrical content. Drake has the sound that I can't place a specific genere on but I call it total musicianship and Drake has it. Total musicianship, This is what sums up Drake King and his superb musical talent. With the song called "Driving Back to Dixie" Drake has a little fun with his singing and songwriting but remains true to who he is as a singer songwriter and keeps his story telling and allows you to feel and see through his songs what he wants you to see, with his realism and once again his lyrics are that great. As I listened to this wonderful and superb album called "Better Man" Drake King sings like a million and it is on his way to stardom.I thank Phyllis Salter Gann for the introduction to Drake King and his superbly fine and emotionally packed musical talent. Also a big thank you to Drake for bringing his tremendous gift of songwritng to my life, he brought out a lot of true feelings for me as a writer through his thoughtful & meaningful lyrics. This album truly validated this for me and I really look forward to hearing Drake King in the lights of the stage and through my speakers as I know this will not be Drakes only stop in life, he will and has that sound that will be brought to the top and will stay there for a very long time.
