Complexities on Project?

Recently I have been asked how to solve complexities on project. Here it is my two cents, in any case I am writing down here my solution path and see if this is better or I can gain more recommendations, comments or ideas ,from you guys, someone will say , yeah you should start with the root cause so this will not happen again but I want to believe that keeping simple is better and we should let team show off their muscles.

Evidently when complex word appears refers to something that is not working properly or seems to be working at different speed but I wonder which project does not face issues? Well this was my answer see if you validate this

Focus on critical issues and analyze which members  can solve solely those issues and make sure they understand deliverables (1), prioritize those issues and keep track of progress in the meantime organize other teammates and split workload (2). As leader try to negotiate with client a deadline if possible or workaround instead.  If necessary communicate upper level internally for possible impact and see if you will have to support as well with any documentation or presentation with solutions (3) to gain some time while solution takes place
