The Increasing Role of Corporate Citizenship in Addressing Environmental Issues
Corporate citizenship, traditionally focused on social issues and philanthropy, is increasingly addressing key environmental concerns. Leaders in corporate citizenship are planning to expand this focus in the coming years, aligning with broader business and stakeholder priorities. This shift positions corporate citizenship as a more strategic lever.
In fact, a survey by The Conference Board of 63 corporate citizenship leaders shows that 72% report a moderate or significant focus on environmental issues.
