In Case You Missed It: Global Impact
July was a big month for giving back to our communities near and far. We kicked off the month by sending 13 volunteers from Insight Global to Tegucigalpa, Honduras to spend a week volunteering with our charity partner OneWorld Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing quality, sustainable healthcare solutions to underserved communities around the world. Together, Insight Global employees helped 866 patients gain access to medical professionals, supplies, and prescription medicine over the course of a week.
Mid-month, Insight Global employees across 60+ offices participated in a field day annual fundraiser to raise money to further support our partnership with OneWorld Health and our goal to fund the building of 10 medical clinics by 2025. Perhaps most notably, one employee from Evergreen, Insight Global's Managed Services Division ran for 12 consecutive hours to reach his personal goal of donating $10,000 for OneWorld Health.
All together, Insight Global employees raised over $100,000 for OneWorld Health.
Finally, to end the month, Insight Global's Social Impact Team brought its mobile career event to Charlotte, North Carolina to provide direct access to job-readiness resources and career-building strategies to over 300 local job seekers.
