In 24 days, I leap into my Next Chapter. This past Year, I have been preparing for such and same. Indeed, over the last few years, I have been exploring and preparing. For me, it has been an ongoing practice and approach to change for decades, across multiple "Chapters". It has been forged and fueled by books I adore, my own look to the wise... and my personal sense of Integrity.
Shortly, the Leap will happen and there will be a forging and consolidating of a new pattern of Life and Work. It has been and continues to be a pretty conscious process, learning and establishing new habits, mindset and heartset ahead of the Leap. It has been and continues to be a decisive time... across matters of Faith and Health and Service and Love.
The Recent Path
Of late and throughout the last Year indeed, I have shared a range of thoughts and links and resources in:
I have also shared on 4 areas for Conscious Being. All in all, there have been some 60+ articles written since writing on Execution back on January 14. Another 60 or so since September of 2023, writing on The Unity Guy. And, another 40 or so since last June sharing on 7 Sources of Strength. Yes, some 160+ articles of me meandering through exploring Character, Purpose and Unity as forces for constructive change. I myself can see an evolution of thought unfolding for me, and of possible value to others navigating and creating change.
My Purpose
Back in mid-May, I shared on A Conscious You, where, among many things, I essentially stated that:
The focus of my Life is Humans Together Strong at home, school, work, business, play and community. That means that I believe in the incredible capacity of the human spirit. That means that I believe that Humanity is our highest standard, and inhumanity is our lowest. That means that the people I deeply Love matter and will always know it. That means that I choose to use my Character, Abilities, Skills and Knowledge to help forge an ever better world and future.
I recommend that read and reflect. I humbly do. Indeed, my Purpose above is my own sense of being that "Student" in the art of living and living my own sense of Excellence. I think it important to explore and live that better sense of Clarity. That said, my LinkedIn profile now states:

With that, I teach, speak, facilitate, train, coach, mentor, sing, dance, box, write, cartoon, blog, vlog and create to advance same. TUGtv is about this.
My Point
... is two fold actually.
First, a Conscious Change I believe is born of the Wisdom of Lewin's 3 Stage Model of Change... unfreezing, changing and refreezing. I have spent this past year or more on the unfreezing and am about to fully engage the change, spending the next Year in a form of refreezing.
Secondly, while aspects of my work identity are changing and evolving, my Just Cause is not. I am The Unity Guy still and always. My delivery systems are changing but I still choose to bring the focused attention to Character, Purpose and Unity... as forces for epic change. My work and Service is still about helping individuals and organizations become "originators and encouragers" of an ever better world and future... at home, school, work, business, play and community. I still and ultimately am intent to help Educators, Entrepreneurs and Emerging Leaders to educate and lead with Character, Humanity and joyfulExcellence ... to unite strong, diverse cultures of meaning, purpose, talent and capacity ... and to inspire learning cultures of flourishing Creativity and growth.
What if we are more like Water? Water changes shape but it is always H2O. What if our core is our core, our Why is our Why, our Purpose is our Purpose? What if change is more about responding to the call to Purpose in ways that make sense and serve forward?
I amThe Unity Guy at Epic Engage. Epic Engage is my evolving vehicle for delivery as The Unity Guy. The Unity Guy is my BEING. Epic Engage is my DOING, and my DOING will change. Though my era of full timeCollege teaching may be ending, I still choose to follow my path through new vistas of teaching, speaking, facilitating, training, coaching, mentoring, singing, dancing, boxing writing, cartooning, blogging, vlogging and creating... to advance Humans Together Strong at home, school, work, business, play and community. I will continue to create and deliver on thought and work that advances our moving forward together, stronger.
We need not change who we BE, but will always need to find new ways to DO what we DO. Discern on Purpose as core. The rest is delivery.
