Conscious Healing

Traumas (Sexual, emotional, accidental or of any other types), leaves us with a scar. A scar that stays for long in the memory, even if its marks are gone.

A recent study said that the US has 8 M people (Our of 33Crores population) with PTSD. If the US has this haunting figures, imagine the situation in another country.

In general every unwanted and stressful events has the power to become traumatic, here is a data about % of people who are likely to develop PTSD once they encounter/experience such events.

  • Sexual assault: 49%
  • Severe physical assault: 32%
  • Serious accidents: 16.8%
  • Shoot and stabbing victims: 15.4%
  • The unexpected death of a loved one: 14.3%
  • Parents of children with life-threatening illnesses: 10.4%
  • Witnesses of violence: 7.3%
  • Natural disaster victims: 3.8%

I am not sharing these data to scare you, no.

The intention is to help you understand, that traumas are the sad reality of life.

Every house has someone who is going through something or else.

We are not supposed to have a perfect life, but hey we deserve a life which is peaceful and happy.

We can not stop external factors, from having an impact on our life.

But we can be equipped to deal with events that cause traumas and PTSD.

Conscious healing is my sincere effort to help individuals recover from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Here is a quick "Find - It - Yourself" PTSD guide

People having any one or more than 1 symptoms are suffering from PTSD.

  1. Loss of interest in your passion (Ask yourself questions - As to why are you losing interest)
  2. Guilt feeling - For anything/actions.
  3. Getting flashbacks, or bad/scary dreams - Connecting to any past events.
  4. Negative thoughts (They become common - they keeps coming back to you)
  5. Are you avoiding any person? (In family, in friend circle, or in society - It necessarily need not to be someone who is responsible for traumas, but also someone who reminds you of any such person)
  6. Having anxiety strokes - Related to any memory/place.

These are a few of the symptoms, please do not become a teacher and start asking people about it.

Hey, are you feeling lonely?

Hey, are you getting negative thoughts?

Hey, are you having anxiety?

No...

Do not do this.

You are not trained to handle these questions, and people going through PTSD are very much sensitive.

Just ask these questions to yourself.
