Don't only ask about tickets completed per fortnight, but about what is learned, tried, and improved. 6. Specifically make time for improving -- maybe 1/2 hour to 1 hour per day, and more time for group problem-solving when bigger problems block the way. 7 Stop "that's just the way it is" talk; use Kent Beck's "thinkie" here - rather than "we can't do X because Y" try "if we can solve Y, we can X!"
