Role: Technology Delivery Directing Consultant.

Location: Birmingham, U.K. - (flexible working options also available).

Rate: Up to £700/day.

Length: 8 Months.

Start: Immediate.

Role Description:

Forsyth Barnes is currently working with an award-winning business operating within the Travel, Tourism and Leisure Sector. This particular business is set to be undergoing a major technology delivery project which is likely to take around 8 months. The project is focussed around the development teams building new back-end systems, and new front-end systems that interface into many of their customers/clients. They will also be building a new website.

They currently operate utilising a Microsoft tech stack but are looking into utilising more modern development languages going forward.

This role will see the successful candidate manage the development teams on the creation of the new front and back end systems, as well as consistent liaison and management of third party tech partner to ensure they are delivering as required.

Role Requirements:

• Experience leading teams using a Microsoft Tech Stack (ASP.NET, C# etc.).
• Previous 'Head of', 'Director' or 'Senior Manager' experience.
• Technical Agility - experience with newer technologies.
• Ability to be hands-on where required, and a good understanding of code.
• Experience managing the development of new front and back-end systems.
• Experience working with and managing the delivery of a tech partner.
• Experience within the Travel & Leisure industry is an added bonus, but not essential.
