Corporate Partner Spotlight: Invesco

Whether it’s generous financial contributions, mission-critical product donations, cause marketing campaigns or volunteering, our corporate partners at RMHC help us further our mission to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. This month, we’re sharing how Invesco Ltd. has made a tremendous impact on our global system. On behalf of our organization, we extend our sincere gratitude to Invesco for their support since 2021.

4 Questions with Invesco:

1. Why did Invesco choose to support RMHC?

While Invesco employees throughout the US have supported RMHC Chapters in their communities for many years, employees voted RMHC as our inaugural North America Charity of the Year in June 2021, proving that the work RMHC does in communities is near and dear to our employees' hearts.

2. Can you tell us about the impact Invesco has had on RMHC?

Invesco made a monetary donation of $250,000 in June 2021 and committed to providing volunteering opportunities for employees across the US and Canada. In February 2022, we extended our sponsorship for another year to ensure employees had an opportunity to support the local RMHC Chapters near seven of our office locations while providing an additional $250,000 donation to advance the mission of RMHC.

3. Invesco employees are passionate about volunteering – how have employees been able to make a local impact?

Here are some of the ways our local teams have supported RMHC since June 2021:

  • Invesco volunteers provided nearly 250 hours of support to RMHC, featuring unique activities focused on mental health awareness, diversity, equity and inclusion, and Earth Day.
  • Offices partnered with local RMHC Chapters to deliver hundreds of care kits for families with hospitalized children.
  • Employees purchased essential items, including dry goods, paper products, cleaning supplies and toiletries and wellness items for their local Chapters.
  • Volunteers created to-go meal kits and served meals for RMHC staff and families at Ronald McDonald House programs across North America.

4. Do any of your employees have a personal connection to the Charity?

Yes – James Nelson, Invesco’s Head of US Institutional Product Strategy and Development, has a deeply personal connection to RMHC when his son Jayden received medical care. James shared, “The impact is immediate, long-lasting, and this organization…is one of the most caring, professional, high-quality organizations in existence.” Learn more about the Nelson family’s story here: A Year of Change - Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (armhc.org)

Thank you for your continued support of our mission, Invesco!
