Covid-19
It's scary outside. People are getting sick left and right. Many of them will get better. Some of them won't get better. The stock markets around the globe are crashing. Stores are running out of supplies. The news is all doom and gloom all of the time. People are in a panic. It's scary outside. That is the bad news.
The good news? You are reading this. You are, presumably, safe. The sun (or moon) is shining on you. You have a family. You have friends. You have colleagues. You have a support system. Lean on those around you. It is okay to be vulnerable right now. Talk with your support system about anything and everything. It will help. I promise.
We will get through this. We have been through wars that have engulfed the globe, in which hatred and vitriol drove deep divides between all of us. Wars in which countries did everything they could to avoid working together on solutions. We are currently all working together, around the globe, to defeat this.
Now hit play on the anthem that I have been reciting to myself over the past few weeks. Find your anthem. You will get through this. We will all get through this. Together.
