CPH is pleased to announce three new promotions to Office Managers in Jacksonville, Miami, and Orlando.

In Jacksonville, Kayla Sheffield, P.E. has been promoted to lead the firm’s office. Sheffield joined CPH in 2017 as a Project Engineer and has managed multiple municipal, private sector, and land development projects during her time with the firm. She takes over for Wade Olszewski, P.E. who has been with CPH for 29 years and opened the Jacksonville office in 1999. In support of a successful transition, Wade will assume the role of Project Manager as he finishes his projects and moves into retirement.

“I’m excited and honored to take on this new role with the firm. My time learning from Wade and the other leadership at CPH will be used to support staff and expansion of CPH in the North Florida region,” Sheffield said.

“Kayla has been a tremendous asset to CPH and has demonstrated she is ready for the opportunity” said Olszewski. “It has been a pleasure working alongside Kayla and getting to experience her growth at CPH. Her natural leadership qualities and proven gift for building strong client relationships, makes her the perfect candidate to continue to build on CPH’s growth in the North Florida market.”

In Miami, Jason James, P.E. James, P.E. has been promoted to lead the firm’s office. Jason joined CPH in 2006 as a Project Engineer and has managed multiple municipal, private sector, and land development projects during his time with the firm. “I have enjoyed learning from Todd and building our team here in Miami. I am excited to have this opportunity to continue CPH’s growth in South Florida” James said.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Jason the past 17 years and he has been an integral part of building the amazing team here in South Florida” said Hendrix. “Jason is a proven leader who works to promote our great culture here at CPH and is always willing to mentor and help our staff develop. I’m excited to see him take on this new role and lead us to the next level.”

In Orlando, Scott A. Breitenstein, P.E. has been promoted to lead the firm’s office. Scott has 31 years of civil engineering experience and has been with CPH over 22 years. He takes over for David Mahler who successfully served in the role for over 15 years and has transitioned to Chief Operating Officer of Public Services for CPH.

“I am honored to have this opportunity to continue to build our team in Central Florida. I have enjoyed working alongside David to expand our capabilities and clients over the last 22 years. I am excited to have this opportunity to assist in CPH’s growth plan and look forward to mentoring our next generation at CPH” Breitenstein said.

“Scott has helped us build our client base and team in Central Florida,” said Mahler. “His tenure with CPH, commitment to staff and the passion for providing the highest level of service to our clients makes him the right person to take over this office’s leadership.”

“We have exceptional team members at CPH and are pleased to promote these key leaders as part of our plan for continued growth and opportunity for our employees” said Peter-John Sutch – CPH President/CEO. “Kayla, Jason and Scott have been an integral part of our success and we’re excited to support them in these new roles. I have no doubt the fresh ideas and approach each will bring to their new positions will strengthen our offices and continue to drive CPH’s expansion.”
