As CrowdStrike’s first MSSP partner in Scotland, Silver Cloud Smarter Technology is now a serious contender in the UK cybersecurity market
Silver Cloud has big plans in the cyber security space, so I’m delighted that CrowdStrike have chosen us as their first Managed Security Services Provider partner in Scotland.
CrowdStrike is a truly exceptional business: widely acknowledged as the industry-leader, winner of multiple awards over recent years, and the only cybersecurity vendor that Gartner, Forrester and IDC all recognise as a leader in modern endpoint security. And not only do they have the best products on the market, they also have the best reputation for delivery.
CrowdStrike offers many excellent products and services, of which the centerpiece is their purpose-built platform, Falcon. This is designed to stop a wide range of breaches using a unified set of cloud-delivered technologies. The CrowdStrike Falcon platform enables us to rapidly deliver solutions spanning endpoint security and XDR, cloud security, identity protection, data protection, managed threat hunting, security and IT operations, threat intelligence and observability – at scale and without friction.
A few years ago the main threat was malware, but today’s attackers have moved beyond that into much more sophisticated methods. Therefore the defenses have to rise to meet the new challenge. 6 The CrowdStrike Falcon platform does just that, using a tiny, single, lightweight sensor that is managed and delivered from the cloud. And it’s supported by CrowdStrikes cutting-edge threat intelligence capabilities.

The new partnership is great news for our customers. We can now offer them an even wider range of sophisticated tools to detect, investigate and respond to security threats, faster and more efficiently.
And this is just one key step on a very exciting journey for Silver Cloud and my security operations team. We have many more big developments in the pipeline, and I’ll be able to share more about some of those soon.
