Culture and Community Expo: A Celebration of Boston Dynamics' Inclusion

At Boston Dynamics, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. We're proud of our inclusive culture, which is fostered by our vibrant community of clubs, activity groups, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).

To celebrate our unique culture and showcase the many ways our employees connect and support each other, we recently hosted our inaugural Culture and Community Expo. The event was a drop-in affair and featured informational booths, food, giveaways, and raffles.

But what really made the expo special was the opportunity for the whole company, especially new hires, to learn about and engage with the different communities that exist throughout Boston Dynamics. Attendees had the chance to chat with over 20 club leaders, activity group organizers, and ERG representatives, and learn about the various ways they can get involved. These groups offer a wide range of opportunities for employees to connect with each other based on their shared interests. From sports and active groups to book and craft clubs, there was something for everyone.

Our ERGs are employee-led groups that provide support and advocacy for underrepresented folks within the company. They also play an important role in promoting diversity and inclusion at Boston Dynamics. The event featured the launch of our newest ERG, the Boston Dynamics Pride Group. The mission of all of our ERGs is to create an inclusive, encouraging, and supportive environment that promotes professional and personal growth, and fosters a welcoming space for members and supportive allies.

The Culture and Community Expo was a great success. Collectively, group leads signed up over 200 employees to new initiatives. It was a fun and imaginative event that gave employees the chance to learn more about each other and to celebrate our shared values. We're already looking forward to next year's expo!
