The Customer is NOT King, But KING-MAKER! (And Why That Changes EVERYTHING)

The Customer is NOT King, But KING-MAKER! (And Why That Changes EVERYTHING)

Forget that tired old saying, "The customer is always right." It's weak. It's outdated. And it's holding you back from owning the market place.

Here's the truth: The customer is NOT king. They don't rule your business. You do. But they hold the keys to your kingdom for they are KING-MAKERS.

Think about it. Without customers, you have:

No Sales!

No Revenue!!

No Business!!!

Customers decide who wins and who loses in the marketplace. They have the power to crown you a market leader or dethrone you to obscurity.

So how do you seize that power and make them crown you?

1. Obsess Over Value, Not Just Satisfaction

Don't just meet their expectations, BLOW THEM AWAY. Deliver so much value that they can't imagine doing business with anyone else. Make them feel like they got the deal and customer service of the century.

Action Step: Review your offering TODAY. Where can you add more value? A bonus? Extended warranty? A after sales follow up call?  Free training? Do it NOW.

2. Treat Them Like Gold, But Don't Kiss Their Feet

Serve them with value. Set clear expectations. Don't be afraid to upsell, handle objections and referral prospect. Remember, you're the expert.

Action Step: Script out requests and responses to common customer situations. Practice your delivery until it's smooth and confident.

3. Build an Army of Raving Fans

Turn your customers into loyal advocates who sing your praises from the rooftops. Encourage them to leave 5 Star Google, LinkedIn and web reviews, refer their friends, and become lifelong customers.

Action Step: Implement a referral and loyalty program. Offer incentives for referrals and repeat purchases. Make it easy for customers to share their positive experiences.

4. Dominate Your Market

Don't just compete, DOMINATE. Become the undisputed leader in your industry. Offer the best products, the best service, and the best overall experience. Make your competitors irrelevant.

Action Step: Analyze your competition. What are their weaknesses? How can you exploit them? Develop a strategy to outperform them in every way.

5. Become a Master of Influence

Learn the art of persuasion and influence. Know how to communicate effectively, build rapport, and close deals. Become a master of your craft.

Action Step: Invest in sales training. Read books, attend seminars, hire a coach. Never stop learning and growing.

The Bottom Line

The customer isn't king, but they hold the keys to your success. Treat them like royalty, deliver massive value, and build an army of raving fans.

This is your kingdom to W1N. Go out there and TAKE IT!
