Now let’s delve into the details of a complete lifestyle that will help you gain better fitness.
Regular recharging is really a luxury now, but what's wrong with compensating the deficit or indemnifying the probability- when you are free?
One must seriously put preponderance to one’s sleep as this is what will rejuvenate the body & mind.
A striking majority of corporate leaders are not getting enough sleep. A Harvard Business Review study revealed that only 28% of executives are sleeping for 7 hours or more! A study also found that a person who sleeps only for 4-5 hours performs tasks much like who is a little drunk!
From the words of researcher Christopher Barnes- management lecturer, at Foster School of Business, University of Washington, "Sleep-deprived managers exhibit less emotional self-control! This makes them more likely to be abusive towards subordinates!”
First of all, I would like to break the myth and proclaim that rebuffing is NOT counter-productive!

This seemingly simple suggestion has myriads of multi-faceted benefits, helping you focus better & more on crucial priorities. This translates to enhanced energy levels and better productivity.
3. Be Physically Active- Whenever possible!
This is the most pressing need of the hour!
Digital connection and virtual conferencing have outstretched the boundaries of time & time zones! And an executive is required to be active around the clock. This significantly slides health & personal care much lower against a never-ending list of pressing priorities.
Well, I personally recommend all to never compromise with health and strictly abide by the fitness regime. But this is not possible for all.
Therefore one can take a 5-min break for stretching, and bending, before and after the meetings. Can also opt for a small walk in your leisure time, and, indulge in physical activity as far as possible.

4. Reducing Screen Time
Easy said but hard executed- especially for the executives!
As we are required to be ever-ready, unplugging technology is a challenge. But still, we have the power to cut the cord in many places. We should develop a habit to ditch digital entertainment or ignoring the trendy discussion on social media. And, this time must be utilized for introspection and retrospection. Putting phones down during travel is a great idea for this.
5. Food Habits
In the discussion- Why CXOs health is at risk, team Bi Proficiency covered various aspects, and foods were specially highlighted.
During business meetings, the meals are scrumptiously sumptuous, and are often accompanied by a generous amount of alcohol as well!
The sedentary lifestyle doesn't permit it.
The key is to add functional and nutritive foods to your diet plan.
See, peak performance comes from a better energy level and a perfect coherence of mind and body. And, this comes only from nutritive food.
In a Nutshell
There is a need for synchronization in your body and mind- then only you can get the best in your professional and personal life. To lead your business, take better decisions, and motivate & energize teams, you yourself need to be in better energy levels. Then only you can lead better by your own example.
Your well-being is the base of impressive leadership, and self-care is the only solution to attain all this!
