DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY FRIDAY JUNE 14, 2024.

1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG.

Topic: Holy Grounds

Text: Joshua 5:15, Exodus 3:1-5

Food for thought: If you are on a ground that you know God descends on regularly, take advantage of it and get all you can from God before you leave the place.

Lesson: Any ground that hosts the manifest presence of God is holy ground, and such grounds carry great power. Merely by stepping on such grounds, people receive great miracles. Beyond that, you can carry the power on a holy ground just by having contact with it. Whenever you are standing on a holy ground, ensure you make the best out of the opportunity.

2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM

Topic: When The Saviour Wept

Text : John 11:33-40, John 11:35

Food for thought :. Perpetual dry eyes in a believer may be a symptom of a spiritual disease.

Lesson: When the Lord wept, it was not a cry for a loss because He possesses the power over death. Jesus wept to share sorrow with Lazarus’ relations and friends who appeared inconsolable. Like our compassionate Christ, we must show concern when our fellow believers grieve and are passing through dark and bleak tunnels of life.

3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy

Topic: The Ministry Of Reconciliation

Text: Romans 5:10

Food for thought: The first and primary kind of ministry of the saints is the ministry of reconciliation; the five ministry gifts- apostles; prophets, evangelists; pastors, and teachers are secondary.

Lesson: The same God who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ has given us (the reconciled ones) the ministry of reconciliation. We’re His ministers of reconciliation. We bear witness to the truth that God was in Christ, actively reconciling the world to Himself through Christ’s redemptive work, not counting men’s sins against them.

4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM

Topic: Handling Family Troubles (3)

Text: Matthew 18: 19-20, 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Food for thought: Prayer is the key to family peace and prosperity.

Lesson: We strengthen our families by praying together, which brings unity, peace, and progress. Prayer connects us to God's wisdom, revealing solutions to problems and guiding our actions. Even when we are apart, continuous prayer ensures divine protection and intervention in our family's lives.

5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM

Topic: God Wants You To Come Boldly

Text : Hebrews 4:16, Hebrews 4:1-16; 1 John 1:1-10; 1 John 2:1-2

Food for thought: If God were to judge us by the Ten Commandments, we would be dead. But He's dealing with you because of Jesus, who paid the complete price.

Lesson: Jesus died to give you access to the presence of God. So, arise and boldly come before your Father with a knowing that He hears and answers even the unspoken prayers.

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC

Topic: Deploying Your Potentials To Maximize Your Destiny

Text: Proverbs 18:16.

Food for thought: Your gift unlocks your greatness.

Lesson: Your potential, when adequately and properly deployed, opens up your opportunities in life. Your gift brings you to the realm of eminence and prominence. When you deploy your gift properly by using it in the service of God and man, God will anoint you to become a wonder to your generation. My counsel is, prayerfully discover and deploy your gifts and potentials to fulfil your destiny.

7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM

Topic: Hear More! Speak Less!

Text: James 1: 13-20

Food for thought : If you truly love God, you will enjoy spending time in fellowship with Him more than any other thing.

Lesson: The key thing about spending time with God is listening. God is interested more in a heart that listens and that is ready to obey than in a heart that is quick to speak. Determine to SPEND MORE TIME WITH GOD AND HEAR HIM MORE! Determine that DIVINE DIRECTION will be your pursuit. UNTIL He speaks, do not take any action! Hear more! Speak less!

8. C.A.C: The Living Water

Topic : The True Token: The Blood Of Jesus

Tex: Exodus 12:13, Joshua 2:12-19

Food for thought: The blood of Jesus is our secure refuge, offering perfect salvation and security.

Lesson: A token is a seal (symbol of authority) that guarantees the quality of an item. The blood of Jesus serves as our ultimate protection and guarantee of salvation, much like the red rope saved Rahab's family. In times of danger, we rely on this divine token for safety, paralleling the Israelites' protection during the angel of destruction.

9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion

Topic: God Punishes Sin

Text: Genesis 4: 1-15

Food for thought: Yielding to sinful tendencies will surely bring suffering and judgment.

Lesson: No sinner will go unpunished. You can never tell the extent of the shame, reproach, and suffering an act of sin can bring upon you. Beloved, you also need to examine your heart to see if there is any element of anger or revenge. You have to repent of such and through the word of God, purge your heart and mind. Desist from sin and all its appearances today!

10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union

Topic: Cheerful giving

Text: 2 Corinthians 9:1-15

Food for thought: Giving is an act of love. Where there is love, gifts will flow.

Lesson: Cheerful giving unlocks God's blessings on the giver. A gift given reluctantly or under duress is not enjoyable and cannot be used with a free conscience. Those who have a deep and personal knowledge of God support God's work with gladness. Pray for the grace of giving.
