DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY FRIDAY JUNE 21, 2024.
1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG
Topic: The Last Enemy
Text: 1 Corinthians 15:26, 1 Corinthians 15:55-58
Food for thought: It is foolishness to sin because it leads to eternity in the lake of fire.
Lesson: Man has several enemies:, the last enemy to be destroyed is death. Fortunately, Jesus Christ has defeated man’s last enemy. So while death leads Christians to heaven, it leads sinners to the second death. Everyone who dies the second death will be condemned to a lake where fire and brimstone will burn them forever. There is no pleasure of sin that is worth ending up in the lake of fire, none at all.
2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM
Topic: The Better Wine
Text : John 2:1-11, John 2:10
Food for thought :. If your life is getting drained of joy and meaning, turn it over to Jesus.
Lesson: Lives and marriages often face finished-wine” situations. Jesus transforms our desperate situations, offering a better, lasting solution, just as He turned water into the best wine at the wedding in Canaan of Galilee. In life's darkest moments, turning to Jesus brings hope and fulfillment that no worldly solution can provide, offering a "better wine" through His grace and redemption.
3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy
Topic: He Came to Us in The Holy Spirit
Text : John 14:3, John 14:23; John 14:15-20
Food for thought : The Holy Spirit is in you today in all His fullness.
Lesson: He came to us in the Holy Spirit, fulfilling His promise to dwell within us forever. Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus remains present and active in our lives, empowering us with His fullness just as He did on the Day of Pentecost. Today, rejoice in knowing His continual presence and guidance through the Holy Spirit's indwelling.
4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM
Topic: From Jacob To Israel
Text: Genesis 32: 22-32, Genesis 32:28
Food for thought: True prayer is neither a mere mental exercise nor a vocal performance. It is far deeper than that — it is a spiritual transaction with the Creator of Heaven and Earth.”
Lesson: You must be determined and persistent in prayer like Jacob wrestling with the angel for his blessing. Just as Jacob's identity was transformed through prayer, you can overcome challenges and change your spiritual identity through fervent prayer. Trust that God can turn any curse into a blessing and rewrite your destiny for good, just as He did for Jacob and Jabez.
5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM
Topic: Grace Is A Gift That Saves And Transforms Lives
Text : Ephesians 2:8-9, John 4: 5-30; John 8: 1-11
Food for thought: Grace will always teach you. Grace will also- empower you to do things.
Lesson: Grace is a transformative gift from God that empowers and teaches us. It changes lives profoundly, as seen with the Samaritan woman who found purpose and identity through encountering Jesus' grace. Similarly, the woman caught in adultery received forgiveness and a new beginning, showing us that grace leads to a life of freedom and devotion to God.
6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC
Topic: Arrogance– The Hindrance To Divine Direction
Text: Proverbs 11:2
Food for thought: Pride makes people too arrogant to be instructed.
Lesson: Some people are dying in silence because they feel they are too big to ask questions.
My counsel is, humble yourself and ask both God and the right people questions when necessary. Adjust your mind to learn from anything and anybody God would choose to use including small children. This is how to make progress in life because no one knows it all.
7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM
Topic: God Of Jehoiachin; Send My Deliverers!
Text: 2 Kings 25:27-30
Food for thought: God's blessings have no boundaries; when He decides to bless, there are no limits.
Lesson: God can use anyone or anything to change your situation, just as He used Evil Merodach to uplift Jehoiachin from despair to royal favor. Trust that God is on your side, ready to break through any prison of circumstances and elevate you to new heights of joy and praise.

8. C.A.C: The Living Water
Topic: A Thoughtful Mind Is A Thankful Heart
Text : Psalm 103:1, Psalm 103:1-10
Food for thought: Those mountains that your prayers and fasting have failed to move can be levelled when you engage in high praise.
Lesson: In a world filled with challenges, it's easy to forget how far you've come and what you've achieved. You risk being ungrateful, if you neglect to take time to reflect on your life.. To be ungrateful is to act foolishly. Everything that has breath, even animals, should praise the Lord . Why won't you praise and thank Him? Do you intend to withhold your praise until God builds you a house, buys you a car, or blesses you with millions? God will never attempt to "bribe" you into praising Him. He alone deserves your praise and worship. So, offer it willingly.
9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion
Topic: Be Obedient
Text: Genesis 7: 1-10
Food for thought: The Lord commands us as Christians to go out and preach the Gospel of salvation to all nations.
Lesson: Despite the lifestyle of the people, Noah walked with God. Noah faithfully followed God's commands and walked in righteousness. Today, like Noah, you are called to obey God's word, spreading His message of repentance and salvation to all, starting with your family. Our preaching is not only by words but also by how we live.
10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union
Topic: Paul's Final Warnings And Greetings.
Text: 2 Corinthians 13: 1 - 14.
Food for thought: God cannot be with us if we are divided in the spirit.
Lesson: Paul's final warnings to the Corinthians highlight the importance of love in addressing issues. He confronts sin with love, urging correction before condemnation, ensuring spiritual growth and unity. Just as Paul emphasized love and correction, we must handle conflicts in our communities with grace and unity, prioritizing spiritual well-being over judgment.
