DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY SATURDAY JUNE 8, 2024.

1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG

Topic : The Belt Of Truth

Text: Ephesians 6:14, Ephesians 6:10-17

Food for thought: The word of God is the truth, anything outside it is a lie – don’t fall for it!

Lesson: We must hold fast to the truth, that is the word of God, as it anchors all aspects of our spiritual armor and protects us from the enemy's lies. Those who live by the truth win the battles of life. By living according to God's word, we gain wisdom and strength, standing firm against the devil's deception, lies, and onslaughts.

2. *Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM

Topic: Key To Pleasing God

Text : Hebrews 11:1-6, Hebrews 11:6

Food for thought :. Faith does not depend on “seeing”.

Lesson: Our faith is demonstrated in the way we live and by the things we do. Faith is not limited to believing that God can do anything but knowing who God is. It is impossible for anyone who does not have faith to please God. Those who draw close to Him must believe in who He is and that He rewards faithfulness, diligence, and loyalty. If we believe in the Lord with all our hearts and seek to please Him always, He will always rise to help us in our hour of need.

3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy

Topic: You In Christ And Christ In You

Text: Galatians 2:20, Colossians 1:27; Acts 17:28; 1 John 4:4; Galatians 3:27.

Food for thought : In Christ, we become new creations, shedding our old selves and embracing a transformed life.

Lesson: In Christ, we become new creations, shedding our old selves and embracing a transformed life. As Christians, we have the incredible reality of Christ living within us, manifesting His presence and power through our every action and word. This union with Christ means that we carry His glory and serve as vessels of His divine nature, impacting the world around us.

4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM

Topic: Power as Of Old

Text : 1King 18:20-40, Psalm 62:11

Food for thought: Standing alone for God makes you the strongest because when you think you are alone, God is closer to you.

Lesson: We witness God's timeless power, still at work today as it was in the days of Elijah, giving us confidence in His ability to act in our lives. Just as Elijah boldly confronted the prophets of Baal and called down fire from heaven, we too must stand firm in faith, free from fear and compromise. By faithfully calling on God with unwavering confidence, we invite His powerful manifestation into our lives, proving His sovereignty and glory.

5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM

Topic: It Is Of His Mercies We Are Not Consumed

Text : Lamentations 3:22, Lamentations 3: 21-36

Food for thought: Beloved, if you can think, then you can thank.

, Lesson: When we reflect on our lives, we realize God's mercy has carried us through storms and challenges, preserving us where others have faltered. Even with unmet desires, we see progress and blessings, revealing reasons to praise God for His unwavering compassion. God's mercy shields us from judgment, reminding us daily that it is His grace alone that keeps us from being consumed.

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC

Topic: Your Word And Your Outcome In Life

Text: Matthew 12:36-38,

Food for thought: Your liberty or captivity in life is at the mercy of your words.

Lesson: You are either a victim or a victor in life by your word. You can use your words to determine your outcome in life. Do not confess your situation; confess your revelation from the Word of God, and your revelation will birth your reality. Despite your condition, determine the positive outcome of

your situation by speaking correctly. Refuse to give up in the face of any temptations, tests and

trials.

7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM

Topic: He Does Not Consult To Construct…

Text: Ruth 2: 1 – 12

Food for thought: God doesn’t look at your past to decide what your future will be! Also, God does not consult with people before He constructs your tomorrow! The only thing that He needs is a heart of trust.

Lesson: Favour can come from unexpected places and people, often without any prior knowledge or connection. Our past does not determine our future, as God's plans for us are beyond human judgment and consultation. When we place our trust in God, He works behind the scenes to shape our destiny, bringing blessings and opportunities beyond our imagination. As you trust in the Most High God, you will not be disappointed.

8. C.A.C: The Living Water

Topic: Stay Humble Or Be Humbled!

Text: Luke 14:11, James 4:1-6

Food for thought: It is better to be humble than to be humbled.

Lesson: What are your achievements, financially, physically, spiritually, vocationally, etc, that make you pompous? Your lofty credentials should make you humbler and closer to God, because you are what you are, by God's grace. So, if you have been given everything by God, including your best friends, the magnificent oceans, and global wellness, why are you boasting as if you brought everything into existence by your power? Be humble so that you won't be humbled! God so much cherishes the humble because they share His character.

9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion

Topic: God Is Aware, He Will Handle It!

Text: Genesis 2: 15-25

Food for thought: God cares for the comfort of man.

Lesson: Beloved, please calm down! God knows your needs; He is aware of your situation and He has heard your supplications. Your heavenly Father knows about your pains, aspirations, failures, battles, and whatever you are facing right now. He knows your needs in all areas of life. Just calm down and allow God to handle it. You will be amazed at the result of God's intervention. God is aware, please relax!

10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union

Topic: Ordination Of Priests - Sin Offering!

Text: Lev 8: 1 - 17.

Food for thought : As royal priests, we represent Christ in all aspects of our lives, knowing that His sacrifice has atoned for our sins, negating the need for old rituals.

Lesson: When God calls us to serve Him, He provides us with His garment of righteousness, not relying on our flawed self-righteousness. We must focus on inner holiness, truth, and love, rather than outward appearances, ensuring we confess our sins before ministering to others.

Psalm 22-27
