DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY WEDNESDAY JULY 24, 2024.

1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG

Topic: Growing In Faith

Text : Hebrews 11:6, Mark 11:12-24

Food for thought: Faith grows through studying God's word, hearing His voice, and acting on what you believe.

Lesson: Faith comes through God’s word. The more you study God’s word, the greater your faith becomes. We grow and deepen our faith by 1. Studying God's word and listening for His guidance. 2. Acting on our beliefs, even in small ways, helps us see God's power and builds our faith for bigger challenges. 3. Hearing testimonies of others' experiences with God encourages us to trust in His ability to work in our own lives.

2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM

Topic: No Guilt, No Condemnation

Text : Romans 8:1-6, Romans 8:1

Food for thought: Repentance and forgiveness through Christ set us free from guilt and condemnation.

Lesson: Every sinner who will decide to turn away from his sins today will receive pardon and walk in perfect fellowship with Christ. No longer will he be under the guilt and condemnation of sin or the cruel control of Satan. To receive this salvation, you must accept your faults, confess them to God, and ask for pardon through the sacrifice of Christ for your complete freedom.

3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy

Topic: God’s Testimony Of Jesus

Text : Matthew 3:16-17, John 1:1-3; John 1:14; Colossians 1:15-20; Titus 2:11-13

Food for thought : You have to believe and accept God’s testimony of Jesus Christ because if you don’t know who Jesus truly is, you can’t serve Him, you can’t live for Him.

Lesson: We grow in faith by fully accepting that Jesus embodies the fullness of God. Understanding Jesus as God's incarnate Word helps us live for Him with conviction. Recognizing Jesus as the great God whose return we await is essential to our salvation.

4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM

Topic: Family Management (1)

Text: Ephesians 6: 1-9, Proverbs 22: 6

Food for thought: A person would be used by God or the devil, depending on his or her family.

Lesson: We align our families with God's will by following the roles outlined in the Bible. Proper family management fosters peace and prosperity, making it difficult for the enemy to disrupt. Each family member's adherence to their biblical role strengthens the family and aligns it with God's divine plan.

5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM

Topic: Hidden Riches Are Yours

Text : Isaiah 45:3, Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 33:3; Philippians 4:19

Food for thought: God reveals hidden riches and resources to those who seek His guidance.

Lesson: Stand firmly on the Word or God. Be assured that God, who has spoken, can do all He has promised. One of His sure promises is to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God will open your eyes to untapped areas that will bring incredible wealth your way. As you follow His instructions, you discover untapped opportunities and resources, leading to abundant blessings and rejoicing.

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC

Topic: The Tragedy Of Inaccurate Understanding

Text: Genesis 3:3.

Food for thought: Inaccurate understanding of God's Word is a root of character failure.

Lesson: The Word of God will keep you in character, and the lack of the Word of God will cause character failure. When the word of God is abundant in a man's life, his character must be adjusted positively. But when the word of God is absent in the heart of a man, his character will be lost. Ask God for a proper understanding of His Word.

7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM

Topic: My Father's Bedtime Story! Laugh

Text: Proverbs 17: 22; Psalm 30: 1-12

Food for thought: Laughter is a weapon in the warfront of life!

Lesson: My father once told me a bedtime story: “A man met a lion

in the bush. He knelt, closed his eyes and started praying. When he opened his eyes, he saw the lion kneeling in front of him and was also praying. He was shocked! He asked the lion: ‘Are you a Christian’? The lion replied, “Foolish man. Don’t you pray before you eat?” The man fainted! Even as you

laugh, always remember that your God laughs at the stupidity of your haters because He sees THEIR UTTER DISGRACE AND FAILURE concerning you!

8. C.A.C: The Living Water

Topic: The Power Of His Presence

Text: Number 23:21, Number 23:21-23

Food for thought: Does reflection on the power of God's presence fill you with a sense of awe and wonder? There is truly nothing like being in His presence.

Lesson: When God's presence is with one, there is no room for satanic attack or infiltration. Such is protected and blessed beyond measure. When we are in God's presence, we are also filled with a sense of purpose, a sense of peace and joy that silences anxiety, since God is in control. His presence gives us comfort and the strength to face any challenge that comes our ways. In His presence is fullness of joy, At His right hand are pleasures forevermore.

9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion

Topic : Service: Route To Greatness

Text: Mark 10: 35-45

Food for thought: Whoever desires to become great should serve others. Even Christ did not come to be served but to serve and die for others.

Lesson: Promotion does not come from the east, west, north or south, but it comes from the Lord. Do you serve in your home, school, church or community? Be content, diligent, and humble as you serve and God will lift you up at night time. The way to greatness is to serve others!

10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union

Topic: Celebration And Penitence

Text: Leviticus 23:23-44

Food for thought: Celebrating the Holy Communion is essential to maintaining our relationship with Christ.

Lesson: We honor God's command by celebrating Holy Communion to remember Christ's sacrifice and the salvation it brings us. Participating in this feast strengthens our relationship with Christ and keeps us connected to His body. We humble ourselves and discipline our bodies through fasting and prayer, reducing pride and fleshly desires.
