The Daily Workaholic Newsletter Has Moved

Every new season comes with adjustments that must be made so that the benefits of that season can be enjoyed. To force the rules of an earlier season into a new one is a recipe for stagnancy and frustration.

For example, being a bachelor and a father are two different seasons. To be a father and then demand that you have all the time you used to have to yourself as a bachelor is not obtainable.

I started this newsletter solely on LinkedIn because I wanted to develop the self-discipline and consistency of publishing daily, without having to worry about the numbers.

LinkedIn Pulse has good promotional features but limited analytics and automation features, making it almost impossible to fully understand the behaviour of newsletter subscribers, or schedule articles ahead of time. If you don't have need for this and just want to write, this platform works!

But 189 articles later, I'm in a new season of life that requires focus on the numbers and a level of automation. I need to track my opens and clicks, segment my audience, get feedback, and create solutions that will help you work differently so you live a purposeful and fulfilled life.

To do this, I'll reactivate my email newsletters. In the morning of every weekday, once you subscribe for free on dailyworkaholic.com, you'll receive an email from me. These emails will have one article, one task for each day and one growth prompt to help you become more self-aware about your journey.

I will repurpose the articles here and on Substack, but they'll be two weeks behind (for search optimisation purposes). So, if you would prefer to get the newsletter in real time and have early access to the resources I create, go over to dailyworkaholic.com to subscribe for free.

As a shameless bribe :), I'm giving away two gifts:

- I created a workaholic quiz that will help you identify just how addicted you are to work. If you are like me and love personality quizzes, this is a fun quiz you want to take.

- Today being World Health Day, and for a limited time, I’ve partnered with Wellahealth in their Partnership for Good campaign to give out FREE access to basic health coverage for 30 days. This campaign gives you access to:

  • Malaria Test & Treatment
  • Treatment of Common Cold & Cough
  • Treatment of Headaches & Pain
  • Treatment of Stomach Upset
  • Treatment of Allergies
  • Telemedicine (Chat/Call a Doctor 24/7)
  • Health Screening (BP, Diabetes)
  • Personalized Health Tips.

If you live in Nigeria and are interested, click the link below to subscribe to the Daily Workaholic newsletter and then signify your interest via the form on the Thank You page. This opportunity might be the epiphany you need.

Thank you for giving me the push I needed to get started. Subscribing here on LinkedIn means a lot to me. I look forward to sending you the next email on Monday.
