The Dance of Light and Shadow: Finding Balance in Darkness

Growing up, my experience with dyslexia has always shaped my perception of myself. Although I did not go to a school specifically for dyslexic students, my difficulty with reading and writing defined me. In my early years of education, my lack of confidence was obvious.

Asking my teachers for assistance was often a struggle, as I felt overwhelmed with confusion and angst. Despite their efforts to assist me, I continued to feel lost and distressed, hiding my true feelings as best as I could.

During my high school years, I developed strong bonds with a few teachers who felt a deep sense of duty to mentor and aid me due to their connection to my late father. Our discussions frequently centered on my day-to-day adventures and weekend pursuits. I would openly share my hobbies and answer their questions.

Although I viewed my responses as commonplace, they consistently praised me as an outstanding person. They perceived me as resilient and determined, convinced that if I could conquer high school, I had the ability to accomplish extraordinary feats in the years ahead.

During some interactions with other teachers, they often encouraged me to be more confident and asked why I wasn't. Their attempts to boost my self-esteem included giving me compliments such as "I believe in you" and "You're doing all right," and expressing their belief in my abilities with phrases like "That's correct! Why aren't you confident in yourself? I am!"

While it's true that teachers are expected to support their students, they are not legally required to do so, and it's not mandatory for them to act in such a supportive manner. I might have been fortunate to have some of the most compassionate teachers at my school, but I don't believe it was just luck.

I had friends in high school (and still do) who knew I had low self-confidence and they’d hype me up. They believed in me when few other people did, and they believed in me with everything. When my friends or the people I was close with didn’t believe in themselves, I can genuinely say I believed in them, too.

They proved to me that they could do whatever they were worried about or anxious about a million times before. They themselves just didn’t seem to think that was enough at the time and that was okay. It’s okay to feel anxious or like you’re not good enough, but don’t let that stop you from pursuing your goals.

From a young age, I recognized the value of networking and relationships in addition to knowledge. My passion for studying nature and relationships has always been strong, and I am continuously learning from successful leaders. This knowledge has helped me build connections, explore diverse industries, and successfully launch my newsletter, The Human In You. Leveraging these experiences, I was also able to self-publish my book, "Sorrowful Wharf."

The universal truth permeates every aspect of our lives, transcending any specific religious or spiritual tradition. It cannot be confined within the boundaries of a place of worship or transmitted by any individual. Instead, it is an inherent force within each of us.

Understanding that truth is not fixed but rather a fluid and continuously evolving essence allows us to grasp its profound nature. It cannot be fully comprehended through intellectual pursuits or rigid beliefs. Rather, uncovering this truth requires embarking on a profound inner journey, delving into the depths of our own existence.

In this exploration, we come face to face with our own anger, brutality, violence, despair, and sorrow. These are not separate from the truth; they are integral parts of it. By acknowledging and embracing these aspects of ourselves, we gain a deeper understanding of the truth that resides within us.

Just as a conference hall requires the collective brightness of all the lightbulbs to illuminate the space, our understanding of truth is enriched by the diverse paths and perspectives of humanity. Hindu, Christian, Muslim, and every other religious practice contribute their unique insights and experiences to the collective understanding of truth.

We may walk different paths, but when we approach truth with an open heart and a willingness to learn from one another, we find that we all converge at the same door. This door opens to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the interconnectedness of all beings.

So, let us not be confined by rigid beliefs or divisive ideologies. Instead, let us embrace the living truth that resides within us and recognize the beauty in the diversity of paths that lead us there. As you embrace this newfound energy, you begin to realize the immense power that lies within you.

Your skills and talents, once dormant, awaken and surge forth like a raging river, carving a path towards your dreams. You feel a sense of purpose and clarity that guides your every action, ensuring that each step you take is aligned with your true potential.

The journey ahead may be daunting, filled with twists and turns, but you are undeterred. With unwavering focus and a burning passion, you are ready to tackle any challenge that comes your way. The bubbling excitement in your chest is a constant reminder of the greatness that awaits you on the other side.

So, embrace this fervor, this yearning for the best, and let it propel you towards new heights in life. Allow the positive influence in your life to be your guiding light, nurturing your skills and talents, and helping you unleash the full extent of your creativity. With every step you take, you inch closer to the realization of your dreams, leaving a trail of greatness in your wake.

Channeled Message

In the midst of chaos, a lone figure emerges. Determination etched on their face, they push through the barriers of doubt. Adrenaline courses through their veins, fueling their every move. They leap over obstacles with grace, defying gravity.

But beneath the surface, cracks begin to form. Fatigue weighs heavy on their shoulders, threatening to break their spirit. Sweat drips down their brow, mixing with the dirt of their journey. The relentless drive that once propelled them forward now threatens to consume them.

And then, a revelation. A moment of clarity amidst the chaos. They step back, taking a breath, and the world around them slows. Time bends to their will, as they tap into the superpowers of their wise heart.

No longer slaves to the relentless pace, they embrace the power of pausing. In this moment, they find strength. With each exhale, they release the burdens that weighed them down. They say no to the ceaseless demands, reclaiming their autonomy.

The world may continue its relentless march, but they stand firm in their decision. Self-love becomes their shield, protecting them from the onslaught of expectation. They refuse to be trapped in the never-ending cycle of struggle.

With a resolute heart, they forge their own path. They find solace in the stillness, harnessing the power of stopping. It is in these moments that they discover their true selves, their purpose illuminated like a beacon in the night.

And so, they continue their journey, with renewed vigor and a wise heart guiding their every step. No longer hiding the reality of their struggle, they embrace it, knowing that it is through these challenges that they grow.

In the face of adversity, they become unstoppable. The world may try to break them, but they rise above, fueled by the superpowers of pausing and stopping. Self-love becomes their armor, and with each breath, they defy the limitations of the human spirit.

For in these moments of stillness, they find their true power. And as they navigate the relentless tides of life, they know that they are the masters of their own destiny. The reality of their struggle no longer hidden, but embraced, they emerge as warriors of the wise heart.

Together, let us illuminate the world with the brightness of our collective wisdom and compassion.

👉 The Sad Truth About Excellence Is People Harbour This Belief: 👉That they prefer the ease to the difficulty of excellence. 1️⃣ They think we prefer a juicy burger to gourmet food. 2️⃣ They think we prefer a rest day, over the best day. 3️⃣ They think we prefer scrolling, over deep stories. 👉 As you can see its clear to see what we prefer. 👉 We just need to make it a lifetime choice. 👉 Rather than a choice when its easy.

A magnificent piece of literature but with two halves. The eloquence of your writing defies your dyslexia diagnosis.I only hope that two of my children who lacked confidence as children yet were very bright develop the power that you have in your writing when they enter their 30s. I liked what you said about religion very much. The arriving at the same place. So true for every individual. I, myself, for reasons untold, lacked self confidence as a child. My husband too. You did well to find the teachers who cared and a good network of friends. I found my mentor and my self confidence for a period of time whilst working for 6 years in my late teens. Spurring me on to become better educated. A thirst for knowledge and revelling in the pursuit of knowledge in my 20s/30s. think I am at the stage of the 2nd part of your article! Should I have written to you privately rather than on your post? Maybe! There is much to discuss possibly. Your weekend has not stilled your pen and so it is with writers. If inspiration comes - inconveniently maybe - then that should not be ignored or delayed for those words need to be written whilst fresh in the head and soul. My inspiration I let down because of duties of motherhood and work. Still tim!
