Data-Driven Governance
Several times in the public health coverage, the most prominent and often observed determinant is perhaps the interplay of sociocultural practices and economic-diplomatic developments.
Today's interdependent world demands a continuum of care that calls for a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to health system building blocks. Area-specific requirements should be embodied with data-driven decision-making and tools for accessible CPHC (Comprehensive Primary Health Care).
Sharing information is vital to achieve sustainable development. Community health workers and service providers are producers of data, if the data producers are also considered as data users for the shared vision of area-specific need-based policy (Multidisciplinary - Micro-Policy (MMP)), it will help to overcome the challenges - insufficient resources for health.
Digitalization of health services and utilization of data facilitate health system resilience. Increasing the involvement of health personnel in data will enable the building of supportive teams and empowerment that will further promote responsibility and accountability. Along with data-driven decision-making, strengthening data-enabled supervision and mentoring will act as an opportunity to share vision and goals with service providers. Accessible data and understanding its utilization also evaluate how we shall act for resource mobilization to ensure prompt response.
In Nut shall, using data to tackle the interplay of determinants is of paramount importance.
