Data Perspective: Looking Forward
Over the past two years, International Insights has looked at global health innovations from around the world. From Finland’s efforts to tackle housing insecurity — a key social driver of health — to Chile’s national mental health plan and Indonesia’s journey toward universal health coverage, each Insight has brought a new perspective on how the United States might address its health challenges.
As the country enters a new era in health care and health policy, the International Insights team looks back on some of the innovations we’ve explored to draw inspiration and, in some cases, signal caution for the future.
Join us as we highlight key takeaways from two years of International Insights in the next edition, coming December 16.

2moThanks so much for this Insights column! Unfortunately, we in the US often are too insulated to look at important examples and initiatives that have made an impact on health and health equity abroad...especially when these come from the Global South. More humility is needed, for sure!

2moExcellent share and looking forward to 12/16! As far as the USA is concerned, we must continue to close the gap on the underinsured and uninsured. #PublicHealth
