Data providers for prospecting
Introduction
At align.me , because we run GTM workshops for the partners of IT vendors (presently mostly Amazon Web Services (AWS) and SAP ), we are often working with companies with small marketing departments and emerging MarTech stacks. We don't position ourselves as a MarTech advisory, but it'd be something of a cop-out were we not willing to express a view. So we do, but only in the context of our go-to-market planning or the outsourced marketing execution post planning.
Data providers are no different from MarTech in that regard. We do have a view and some experience, but we've not sent a couple of analysts on a three-month comparison exercise for each of 20 categories.
With that in mind, I was recently seeking inputs from my network on data for an experiment I was looking to craft and was introduced to a couple of data providers whom I'd not seen before. In an attempt to list and distinguish these providers, I sought the aid of my old mate ChatGPT. The following is therefore its work, not mine. My contribution was about an hour for the crafting of the prompts (and 20 iterations to get what I felt was needed). I might find time to evolve and improve it. But for now, this is not Hugh's work, nor that of my team at align.me
