Day 285 of 1,095: Good Things Happen When You Sleep On Them

Day 285 of 1,095: Good Things Happen When You Sleep On Them

This morning started in the early hours, with matters related to the ongoing and challenging war. From there, I transitioned into product development and brainstorming for our startup.

Today, we dove into a thought experiment: “A Day in the Life of a Reservist Soldier.” We mapped out how our product could seamlessly integrate into their daily routines and genuinely make a difference.

We spent hours at the whiteboard—drawing, erasing, and rethinking. With the help of AI-driven tools, we crafted infographics that not only told a story but made it visually compelling.

And then, it hit me: Sometimes, the best thing you can do is sleep on it.

Sleep offers clarity, renews focus, and lets you approach problems from fresh angles. This realization reminded me that stepping back is often the key to moving forward.

Despite feeling a bit under the weather today, I’m grateful for the progress we made—especially knowing that every step we take brings us closer to empowering combat veterans and security forces. Our goal? To help them build resilience and grow from trauma, one small step at a time.

Now, it’s time to rest. Just like resilience, good innovation requires balance.

What about you? How do you find clarity and new perspectives during challenging days?
