Today's reading is titled; Thoroughness.
What is worth doing at all, is worth doing well. Character is power and is the best advertisement in the world. And a great character comes from the ability to pay attention to the details. Because just like every tiny spec of paint works together to make up the bigger picture. So too your life is made up of each and every action you take.
Be thorough in whatever you do and your life will be the best that it can be. When there is something that you have to do. Start at the beginning and work through to the end. Until you get the results you`re after.
Pay attention to the details in between and take care of them to the best of your ability. Thoroughness is the only straight road to success. Doing something right is the only way you guarantee that you won't have to do it again and again.
If something is worth doing it's worth doing right the first time. That rule applies to every career and to every action that goes to build it up. Every brick in a building has its right place and in the right setting. The building can only be its best if each and every part is built with thoroughness.
If you`re a business owner. Strive for excellence. If you`re a husband, be the best husband there is. If you`re a writer, always write your best. Or if you`re a mother, be the best mother you can be.
Pay attention to the details. Because your thoroughness counts in the long run. Everyone can not do equally good work but everyone should strive to do their very best in whatever they do.
One of life`s greatest pleasures is to look at something you created with your own hands or your brain and to see it as perfect as it can be made.
A thorough person does whatever he does well. Because he can't get any satisfaction from doing it poorly.
