Shockingly as forecast, the snow started yesterday at precisely noon. However, it can't be climate change because it's been the same pattern for years.
So today we're using our emergency procedures and working from home, just like we've setup most of our clients to do the same.
"That's never happened so why should we spend anything on it?" is a pretty common statement.
"OK, what problem do you need to solve in the meantime?", is how I usually respond.
Even in 2025, few organizations have begun a security risk program so there is almost noting in place to avoid loss with it usually taking 1-2 years before a real disaster drill and tabletop test can be performed.
