The Deadly "Leap Second"
Isn't it crazy that we are already a week and a day away from December of 2022... Let that sink in...
What a crazy year this has been and cannot wait to do a wrap-up of 2022 newsletter in a few weeks but for now, we have to carry on. In the meantime, inflation is seemingly taking a pause (hopefully) over the next bit. Who knows what is going to happen over the next 6 months but signs could show that we are heading for a double dip and going to see inflation find its way back up. We should all just enjoy the gas prices while we can I guess.
For now, you can catch me drinking egg nog by the fireplace and watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas about 100 times a day. In between each time watching, I found time to write this week's newsletter for ya eyeballs.

Short Topics Of The Week
Notion and AI
With one of the most random releases, Notion has released the Alpha testing of their new AI system that they are going to be putting into their already steroid-pumped OS. With this you would be able to type "Notion, write me a tweet on AI" and Notion will write up a tweet for you. You can catch a video they released about what they are building on their site, pretty wild stuff.
The Controversies Continue
After posting a poll on his Instagram, Elon Musk had about 15M people respond with about 52% saying that he should bring Trump back onto Twitter. With that said he then did so. Which of course did not come as a surprise that a lot of people weren't happy about this. With Trump trying to promote Truth (his own social app) who knows just how much time he spends back on Twitter. With that said this was an obvious move to bring more back and forth between users on the platform which then pushed Twitter into more people's screens. Helping Elon get a return on his $44B investment.
No More Leap Second
There is a point in time when people decide to move our clocks up by one second. Not a leap year or a leap month, a small second. Which has caused damage across the world and made companies like Reddit and more go down because of it. Now we have decided as a society that we will not leap this second anymore. Which will start in 2035 and last until 2135. How wild is that.
