Dealing with Rejection in Sales
Sales is one of the toughest jobs out there. 67% of sales reps are close to burnout and 58% struggle with their mental health.
This is because rejection is a daily part of selling. Even if you are the best seller in your company, you likely hear the words "no", "maybe" or "in 3 months" more than you do "yes".
While top salespeople are made of "rhino skin" as my colleague Lawrence calls it, every seller has his down moments.

1yGreat insight into the sales mentality. Thanks. Not a job for everyone! I had a profound change of job a few years back for various reasons and have had an amazing opportunity to get back into the channel thanks to Glenn Robertson. Mental health charities such as Health in Mind do amazing work and I used them to help with that transition to make sure that I started my new role afresh and didn't carry across any mental baggage so I could give the role and an amazing solution everything it deserves! Nothing wrong with leveraging these amazing charities out there there are available!
