Death toll per terawatt hour
Since more people have been killed due to accidentially falling off buildings while installing solar power than ever have been killed in the entire history of nuclear power, I dare to post some hard FACTS, i.e. numbers of death toll per terawatt hour electricity produced.
It is absolutely clear that nuclear is the best and safest option to produce electricity if hydro power can't do the job. Recent developments like the russian BN series reactors will consume the spent fuel of our conventional light water reactors and produce another 100 years of clean electricity. Meanwhile Thorium fuel cycle reactors based on inherently safe molten salt technology will rise up and provide clean and abundant power for more than 1000 years to human kind.
Make sure you invest in education in nuclear physics today. You will need it in the future.
