Declare the money to customs

When a traveler arrives in France or when he goes out of France, money which he transports of an amount equal or upper to 10 000 €, or his equivalent in currencies, must be declared in customs. The declaration can be made online, on the site of the customs https://pro.douane.gouv.fr or with the form Cerfa 13426*04 downloadable on the site of the customs. The declaration must be always made before the departure. Any false declaration, or absence of declaration, involves the payment of customs duties and taxes, as well as of possible customs penalties.
