How to be a GGG: (Great Giver of Gifts)
It might not surprise you to know the team at Consider it Done is frequently asked for interesting gift ideas. So we like to think that we are somewhat experts in the art of finding a great gift.
And before you say it, the gift doesn’t have to be expensive to be good. Its value to the recipient will be in much more than that. It’s about thought, creativity, effort, sentiment, and imagination.
“Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas.”
– Peg Bracken
So - as someone desperately short of time - what are the fundamentals of being a GGG, that mean you can minimise time spent in pursuit of the perfect offering, and maximise the joy of the receiver? (And also your own joy of course for having nailed it.)
Here are our Pro-tips for being a GGG.
Christmas wrapping made easy
Banish sellotape stress and last-minute wrapping woes with the brilliant mobile gift wrapping service from one of our favourite service partners: Lets Get It Wrapped. Yes that’s right – you don’t even need to leave home because the amazing team will come to you, equipped with all the paper and ribbon you’d ever need. (They cover London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.) There are other options too – they can collect your gifts, wrap at their HQ and send on to your recipients. Or return them back to you.
Gift wrapping starts at £6 a parcel, priced by size (min order £60). Plus, there’s an exclusive offer for Consider it Done clients: the 10th parcel is wrapped FOC with our compliments.

Lapland UK
Are you looking for a fun, festive activity to spark your children’s imagination and create a memorable experience for the whole family? Over at Ascot in the Whitmoor Forest, you’ll find Lapland UK – the perfect place for a Christmas adventure based on a re-imagination of the Father Christmas myth.
First, every child receives a personal invitation from Father Christmas asking for their help in the Lapland Toy Factory.
Then on arrival, you’ll journey through the Enchanted Forest to find the Toy Factory.
There, children make their own toy and decorate a delicious treat with Mother Christmas.
There’s an Elven Feast to enjoy in Pumpernickel's Restaurant, and after travelling deeper into the snowy forest to see the reindeer and sleigh, your child will meet Father Christmas himself.
On Christmas morning, your child can unwrap the toy they made in the Toy Factory with a postcard from Father Christmas thanking them for their help in Lapland.
Prices range from £395 to £695 (by time/date chosen). Book up to 24th December 2023. Interested in this immersive, captivating Christmas experience? Ask the CiD team for more details HERE
